German Chocolate

Happy Friday the 13th!

Today has been an exceptionally good day. Ashley and I got up early, walked to the gym, worked out like mad, walked home. Showered, dressed, etc.. then caught the bus uptown to the mall, where we got smoothies and breakfast, purchased two Sing Star games, and also slushie drunk mix. Then we caught the bus to Sears/Liquor store and went a little crazy... rum, vodka, whisky, tequila, and bols blue. Lots of drinks/singing this evening. :) Anyway, then we walked to work with our kitbag full of liquor, all the way down the bypass... it was quite ridiculous. And upon doing this we realized, neither of us had brought any lunch, boo. But! When we got to work, and opened our email, turns out the site has won best customer service for x amount of years, resulting in an hour off paid, with a BBQ, cake and pop! Annnd I won a silent auction on a german chocolate cake, which Ashley and I have been snacking on all day. ALSO, and probably one of the best parts - I went to Sears again later and bought a dress which is wonderful. Its strapless, brown with cream colored polkadots that start small and get bigger over the length of the bottom... and it has a pouffy skirt.

I'm now going how to drink previously mentioned liquor, and play Sing Star. Whee!

Seize The Night

Is the title of the Dean Koontz book I am currently reading, and in love with. Very much recommended!

I've spent most the day at work buried in my book only coming up for sips of green tea smoothie. I am getting paid for this.

Tra la.

Anyway, the clock reads 8:00pm, and I am done :) Heading home to cozy up with my boyfriend and watch Star Trek. Perhaps a bubble bath.
